The Animal Diversity Academic League (LADA - UFF) seeks to bring together undergraduate and graduate students in Biological Sciences to promote the discussion and teaching of Zoology and Ecology, aiming to awaken this passion that we share, in our colleagues and in the population in general . About the League
What is an Academic League?
The Academic League is understood to be an association formed by the student body, non-profit, whose provisions are defined and governed by a statute associated with it.
Academic leagues usually promote events inside and outside universities, to add and enrich the content offered by them.
The Academic League of Animal Diversity
The Animal Diversity Academic League (LADA) was created, in 2019, by students of the Biological Sciences course, from Federal Fluminense University (UFF), with the objective of complementing student training with extracurricular activities.
Since its formation, LADA has promoted events such as short courses, conversation circles, external exhibitions, among others.
The League is made up of scientific commissions and administrative positions.
The scientific commissions are: Chordate Commission, Panarthropod Commission and Invertebrate Commission; each of them with five members.
Administrative positions include that of president, vice president and director general, whose functions are limited to managing and ensuring the functioning of the League.

Platforms
In addition to social media, LADA UFF also features two other special platforms: LADA PLAY and LADAreader. The first is a channel on YouTube, for the presentation of open online events held by LADA, presentation of works and projects, with the LADA TALK SHOW , a program of interviews with professionals in the area of Zoology. LADAreader is a platform for publishing books and other texts / works built by LADA UFF.
Another project is LADA PARA OUVIR, where we adapt our projects, which were originally on video, for podcasts. You can follow them on the most diverse podcast streaming platforms. Click on the logo below for more information.
